If the Easy Anti-Cheat service on your computer has been disabled, you will still run into this Battlefield 2042 Easy Anti-Cheat since your computer won’t be able to access the EAC, which is required for Battlefield 2042 games to run.

To make sure EAC service is enabled on the computer:

  2. Type services.msc and press Enter to open the Windows Services window.

As corrupt display drivers can prevent your gaming client from being able to connect with the Easy Anti-Cheat and trigger this problem, you could also be able to fix it by updating the GPU drivers on your computer.

  1. Right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager.
  2. Scroll to the Display adapter option and double-click it to expand your network drivers.
  3. Right-click on your network driver and select the  Update driver option.
USE UPDATED GPU DRIVERS
  1. On the resulting prompt, select Search automatically for driver and allow it to install an updated driver version on your computer.

You can also use PC HelpSoft to automatically download and install outdated drivers on your computer instead of manually looking for the updated drivers yourself.

As a last resort, you can reinstall Battlefield 2042 on your computer or only the Easy Anti-Cheat program to give them a fresh start if the problem still persists, which is unlikely. I’m hoping that will help to resolve the problem eventually.
