Hey all, I’m back with another Anime Sunday with this week being a look at one of the previous season’s new shows. It’s my “WataOshi,” or “I’m in Love with the Villainess,” Episode 01 Impressions.

Plot: This is a fun twist on the reincarnated as the villainess of an otome game plot hook, with the office worker main character actually being reincarnated as the heroine, but having fallen for the villainess tries to romance her over any of the intended male romance options, much to their chagrin.

Characters: This first episode details the main character Rae Taylor’s sudden reincarnation into an otome game and her immediate pursuit of Claire Francois, the game’s villainess. The rest of the characters are pretty good too, but they are overshadowed by Rae and Claire.

Art: The art is good but not up to my gold standard of ufotable quality.

Overall: A solid first episode.

For those who like: Action, Drama, Comedy, Yuri, Fantasy, and Great Characters.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
