1SP Agency has acquired Renaissance PR

The public relations and communication company 1SP Agency has acquired Renaissance PR for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is part of a ‘strategic move to expand its global presence’, according to a statement released by the firms announcing the decision.

1SP Agency is based in Germany, and describes itself as a ‘global, integrated marketing powerhouse with expertise in consumer electronics, gaming and technology’. In the past it has worked with large players in the games space like Epic Games, Amazon, Microsoft, Bandai Namco, Square Enix and more.

In recent years it has acquired several other comms and marketing companies and made them part of the 1SP Agency family, including MSM.digital, Insight, FLZR, Studio CO2 and CAD-Laif.

Renaissance PR was founded by industry veteran Stefano Petrullo back in 2015, and since its creation has been hard at work servicing the public relations and communication needs of companies including the likes of Curve Games, Private Division, Team17, Tencent, among others. The company also won an MCV/DEVELOP Award for Best Agency in 2019, and for Best Campaign in 2022.

“By joining forces with Renaissance PR, we aim to strengthen our position as a comprehensive provider of top-notch communications services, offering clients a wider array of expertise and an even more extensive reach,” said Torsten Oppermann, founder and CEO of 1SP Agency. “This addition marks a significant step in our journey of international growth. With over 300 talented individuals in our group and the capability to run campaigns in more than 29 languages, our reach and impact are truly global.”

“We’re excited to join the 1SP family, whose dedication to excellence mirrors our values of accessibility, transparency, and accuracy,” added Stefano Petrullo, founder and CEO of Renaissance PR. “This partnership enhances our global reach and combines our strengths, forming an unmatched force in communication and marketing services.

“It’s a moment of going full circle for us – from our humble beginnings to now being part of a bigger family of experts. This acquisition symbolises our dedication to providing our clients with the best-in-class services and reinforces our commitment to continuous innovation and growth while being agile in our day-to-day operations.”
