As we watch a member of the Raccoon Logic team hop, run, shoot and splat their way through Revenge of the Savage Planet at Gamescom, the studio head and co-founder Reid Schneider tells us the goal "wasn't to make the expected sequel." That's a tall order, given that Raccoon Logic was formed by folks who had previously been at Journey to the Savage Planet developer Typhoon Studios before it was closed as part of Google's Stadia shutdown.

Dying Light: The Beast is a new game from Techland that, originally, was destined to be DLC for Dying Light 2. It's a familiar story. Last year's Assassin's Creed Mirage from Ubisoft was originally conceived as an expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, before becoming its own, shorter standalone game. The most recent Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3, according to reports, was initially planned as an expansion for Modern Warfare 2 before, again, it was reimagined as a separate game.

Timbre Games has reopened its doors as an independent studio, three months after its closure by Sumo Group. In a post on Linkedin , CEO Joe Nickolls said that Sumo Digital allowed the team to keep the Timbre brand, and supported the studio's transition to its independence. The studio also partnered with Studio Capital Management for its business development, Nickolls said.

The problem was the texture setting in atlas. I was using a non-power-of-two atlas texture, with Filter Mode set to Bilinear and Wrap Mode set to Clamp. After changing the settings in ATLAS for other issues, I realized that it was working correctly. For now, I changed the settings to Neartest(None) and Wrap, and itās working fine. I also changed the settings of my atlas texture to make it a POT.
