Zenith MMO – the VR MMO to beat (for now)?

Rampant Games

We’ve had a couple of VR MMOs ( Orbus VR , A Township Tale ) and a bunch of demos so far. But the next contender has come out swinging, and it’s pretty impressive. Zenith MMO is a made-for-VR MMO RPG, with a bit of a science fiction / science fantasy environment, and strong anime roots. It’s still in Early Access, but the demand took it to the top of the Steam Charts on its EA launch–and it’s still high up on the list.

Bookish Wednesday: Jake’s Magical Market by J R Mathews

Game Industry News

Hey all I’m back with another Bookish Wednesday. It’s Jake’s Magical Market by J.R. Mathews! Plot: The plot starts off pretty solidly, the end of the world occurs when everything is shifted around and suddenly monsters and magic is a thing. The Astronauts

This tweet by @zeuxcg sparked my interest: If you think of Ryu as the gold standard of shortest correctly rounded floating point output, note that there’s still active research happening in this area, with papers from 2020-2021 (Schubfach, Dragonbox), with both being noticeably faster than Ryu.
