Hello, I have a problem with Resident Evil 7 and I didn’t find any thread talking about it.
The game is working fine, even with highest settings. But after sometime of playing (10-15min), the game freezes for about one minute. The sound continues and then the game comes back, but the subtitles are late since they kind of “catch up” with the video.
I stopped playing it after defeating Mia attacking us with a chainsaw (in the very beginning) because I want to fix this before I can continue. The long freeze breaks the immersion.
I have a GTX 980, i7 4790K CPU 4.00GHz and PC benchmarking tool said my PC was working perfectly etc.
I’ve tried all the fixes I could find so far aka: setting all graphics to low and remove everything, changing resolution, fullscreen, borderless, anti-aliasing all of them, vsync off, AO to SSAO, etc, etc.
    Still no change.
I also tried to remove “Banned” DLC, install the game on SSD drive, run as administrator.
I’m a bit desperate here. Any help appreciated.
