Who has input on what a game is named? Who has the final say?
A
Lots of people have input in the process, but what usually ends up happening in AAA games is that the executive producer consults the leadership and they make a list of name candidates. This list is then passed on to the publishing executives above who make a decision based on what they like. They may consult market research, the marketing department, or even farm it out to focus groups, but usually they just pick something they like.
