A Diwali with a Difference – for Evon Technologies & Logic Simplified

This year, Evon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Logic Simplified celebrated Diwali together in style at the Grand Hyatt Regency, Dehradun, on the 4th of November. The evening was memorable for myriad reasons - dazzling stage performances by colleagues, a motivating company presentation with a significant announcement and of course, the overall feeling of joy at being a part of this celebration. 

Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time for celebration and our party was nothing short of spectacular! Dressed in our ethnic best, the moment we entered the beautifully decorated venue, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere created by the organizers. The pandemic had kept us physically apart, and this felt like a long-overdue reunion with old colleagues, who had been just pixelated faces and distant voices on virtual Zoom calls. Without any awkwardness or hesitation, we laughed together, shared memories, and felt genuine happiness in being in each other's presence once again. 

‘Culture is how an organization thinks and acts,

But individuals shape it.’ 

Satya Nadella’s words rang true through the hall, where everyone mingled beyond hierarchies and targets, roles and skills. We met as people, overwhelmed to be a part of an organic whole where a sense of community and camaraderie mattered the most.

Our incredibly talented colleagues put up a stage show, with the witty-and-wise Swati and Shweta as anchors for the evening. We had everything, from beautiful classical dances to heart-touching Bollywood songs, that added to the Diwali vibes. Manish and Dharati wowed us with their Cultural Catch-up Duet; Ritika, Srishti, Vaibhav, and Shrish rocked the stage with a dance performance. Ranjeet's solo performance of ‘Musafir Hu Yaaro’ gave us goosebumps, and Rishu and Aditya's song left everyone humming. Nidhi's solo was just delightful, and the duet by Shubham N and Shubham T was so melodious we couldn't look away. Not to forget, the fantastic group dance by Sweta, Arushi, Ethi, Priyanka, and the duet song by Moulik, and Bhoopendra - pure musical magic. 

We thought the buzz was at its zenith when we realized there was more! 

The CTO, Mr. Sumeet Arora, shared his vision for the company. He spoke about how big plans are afoot to further expand globally and to give back to society, too. From pre-pandemic learning to post-pandemic growth, he held court with not just information but also a strong message of gratitude for one and all. The company had thrived when many barely survived, and this was a testament to the skilled resilience of our people. Deafening applause ensued after his presentation, and continued, as the CEO, Mr Vijender Chauhan, made the big announcement - Evon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Logic Simplified will be merging. 

With the road ahead defined, the workforce of the two companies will be walking it as one big team now - with combined expertise and leadership, and a single focus. 

Over 400 of our colleagues and their spouses spent the rest of the evening eating, drinking, and making merry, to the tunes of Gautam Thapa’s band. The titles for the evening were awarded to Shrish Kumar and Ritika Rajput for their dancing, Vivek Chettri and Neelam Rawat as Mr and Ms Lively, respectively, and Shubham Mamgain and Nidhi Chaudhary as Mr and Ms Spark. Capturing the essence of this special evening were our in-house photographers, Deepak and Pratyush. Their exceptional skills ensured that no moment, smile, or dance moves were left undocumented. 

Diwali is a festival of plentitude and the generous arrangements at the party did justice to this idea. Most importantly, our Diwali celebration was a testament to the spirit of resilience and oneness. It served as a reminder of the challenges that we have overcome and the growth that we have achieved. The performances, the reunions, the cultural vibrancy, and the collective celebration showcased our company's core values. 

Today, with the merger of Evon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Logic Simplified, we are looking ahead like never before.
