Starfield to release on September 6

The Bethesda title was initially due in the first half of the year

Starfield will be launching on September 6, 2023, Bethesda has announced.

The company released a new teaser for its upcoming sci-fi RPG (see below), in which it revealed its release date on Xbox Series X|S.

In the video, game director Todd Howard promised a "very unique experience" and announced a Starfield Direct for June 11, during which the studio will present a deep dive into the title.

Initially announced in 2018, Starfield was due to launch November 11, 2022, Bethesda said at E3 2021.

In May last year, Bethesda then announced it was pushed back to the first half of 2023, though it looks like it's finally settled for the second part of the year.
