This deception lies in the fact that cinematic language must force the viewer into the veracity of what is on the screen. Like a lot of filmmaking, it just becomes complex depending on how it's used.

Well, the storytelling is kind of sketchy and I was thinking I'm watching a clip in the form of a movie. Besides the fact that it's just incredibly beautiful and cinematic, the amount of light in this shot makes it clear to which emotional state the protagonist is. That's all for this week.

It seems to have been overlooked and for nothing, as it has given us so many cinematic masterpieces. In "Parasite" we can see a distinctly Hollywood image, from which the viewer builds certain expectations of the film, but the further the film goes, the more we realise that this is an entirely new cinematic experience.
