They're small little bottles that blend-in with junk prop set dressing from a distance. Meanwhile, Aleksis is an entertaining character with a big complicated party setpiece that invokes past Arkane games and the game marketing. And they usually do! Like 2-4 piles per arena. see screenshot above). Maybe this is intentional?
