Besides the fact that it's just incredibly beautiful and cinematic, the amount of light in this shot makes it clear to which emotional state the protagonist is. And the director again builds up the movie on the contrasts: action vs smooth cinematography, good vs evil, red vs blue. In the "Drive" cinematography is so calm.

In "Parasite" we can see a distinctly Hollywood image, from which the viewer builds certain expectations of the film, but the further the film goes, the more we realise that this is an entirely new cinematic experience.
