Why isn't Godot an ECS-based game engine?

This design became common in game engines and libraries in the early 2010s. This can be understood by examining the Engine and Game Logic parts separately: Engine. Game logic. Still (while, by far, not the majority) some types of games will see a performance benefit when using ECS in the game logic side.
