Just watched the Todd Haynes documentary on The Velvet Underground, and it sure leaves a mark. Listen too much and one might get a little sick – Haynes uses “Monday, Monday” by the Mamas & the Papas as a punching bag multiple times to prove this point. However, they are difficult albums to listen to end-to-end.
