We knew that we needed custom modifications for destructible terrain, dynamic lightning, and support for thousands of swarm monsters. We still don't know if the game is balanced enough, which is why we are on Early Access to check what works right and what doesn’t. One example is the debris particles interacting with 2D terrain.
