Since its launch in 2018, Epic Games Store has spent bucket loads of money on giving away free games, in order to attract PC gamers away from Steam. In 2022, the retail store front hit 68 million monthly active users and a peak daily active user base of 34 million. Success has been hard to come by.

Eighteen full-length games now complete. One of my fondest gaming activities is playing shooters on the couch with my wife. Our peak experiences have always been with the Halo series, which has had couch co-op since the beginning. A six foot fall gives a MUCH harder impact. This may have been too many. Lots of fun.
